Fans have hailed praise on Chloe Bailey after she defended Beyonce for not promoting her new album.

The singer who is signed to Beyonce's Parkwood record label - recently released her new album In Pieces. Despite plenty of controversy, the album garnered relatively disappointing album sales - debuting at 119 on Billboard in its first week.

And speaking on the Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, the hosts asked whether Chloe places any blame on Beyonce.
They said: 'The internet felt like Beyoncé should've done more in regards to promoting your album'.
Chloe responded: 'I love B and she supported my sis and I since we had our little locs on YouTube so it's all love over here, I love her.'

You feel like the label could have supported more and push more because that's what nobody talking about. Everybody want to blame Beyonce where was the label at?
"Well I feel like it's all politics but this is what I'll say: God's plan is always greater than any plan I could come up with and I'll tell you why.
I shot Swarm and Praised This last year. I didn't know when those were coming out.
Swarm - whether it's negative or positive everybody had my name in their mouth maybe a week or and a half or two before my album then I had Praise with Universal and I got to do this whole full press junket going all these morning shows, going all these talk shows Jimmy Fallon, Drew Barrymore, all these great things to talk about the movie and because God is so good I was able to also promote my album. I am grateful that I have multiple ventures in multiple ways that I can make money and promote myself and it's hard but I love it and because of that that shows me that what God has for me."
Chloe said.

DJ Envy then brought up Beyoncé again, saying: 'Everyone was saying because Beyoncé didn't post [your album]...How did that make you feel?'
'I was like, "At least they're talking". And at least people will go and listen to the project.
'And as much as people try to bring up numbers and things like that, I'm trending every other day. Marketing can't buy that. A label can't buy that.
'So people care enough to constantly have my name in their mouth. So, I'm doing something right.
'If it was real what people were saying, my tours wouldn't be sold-out. People wouldn't be singing word-for-word on an album I just dropped a week and a half ago.'

Shes an artist that doesnt know her own audience. She sings alternative R&B music, but now shes trying to get into the female rapper image. And she does it in a extremely cringe way! Then she works with Chris Brown and tells her audience she doesnt care about their opinion.

I mean the Beyoncé blame is stupid. Tbh the worst thing Beyoncé could do is keep these two too tied to her image and brand. They’d never be their own artist because Beyoncé is just so huge. Look, she’s clearly shown them the ropes, given them resources, signed them and all. The fact of the matter imo is that chloe wasn’t ready for a huge mega successful album yet. Ungodly Hour was not a hit hit and Chloe didn’t particularly stand out—two things you need if a girl’s to go solo after a group. Look at Beyoncé and DC. They had 3 albums, a slew of hits, and Bey was always pushed as the front woman. She was primed for solo success then just had to have good **** (which she delivered).

Chloe tried to fast track it from a small hit with Do It and a smaller hit with Ungodly Hour. It was never gonna land like a Camilla Cabello type or Normani (ala motivation). And that’s okay! She’s still booked, blessed and selling out shows so she’s okay! But people had waaaaay too high of expectations for her debut album and a Beyoncé promo wasn’t going to change that one bit. Her track is going to be the slow burn fostering a community over time from quality stuff but megawatt debut was absolutely not written in the stars for her and the reception to her singles would have indicated that. Convo on social doesn’t always translate to sales

The way she talks about it is realllyyy awkward though imo. Feels like some drama behind the scenes. Like she doesn't really address the fact Beyoncé didn't share her album on IG, making it seem like she did wish B had done that. Just feels weird imo

i mean i would still give her a chance because its only her debut..some artist didn't make it big until their 2nd or 3rd album release.

but if ever she still flopping after 3rd album. McDonald's is hiring.

I feel like she said a whole lotta nothing but at the end of the day, both Chloe and Halle are mega talented so just bc Chloe’s solo music isn’t doing well doesn’t mean her career is in jeopardy
