Justin Trudeau is under fire for costing tax payers over $100,000 on a family vacation trip to Jamaica... Opposition Leaders say he is out of touch with the struggles of everyday Canadians

 

Trudeau fires back saying the trip was approved by the comissioner and that much of the added costs involve the mode of transportation (Prime Minister's are not allowed to travel casually as a normal passenger in a normal airline for security reasons even if he wanted to), and necessarily security that had to be taken along also added to cost

To me this is politics and ppl finding reasons to be salty over nothing...

 

He's been Prime Minister for almost 8 years now... Do ppl genuinely expect that he and his family are not allowed to ever go abroad on a vacation for that long while holding the job? And when he goes of course there will be costs associated with the travel and his security cuz he's the frekkin prime minister

 

$100,000 for the Canadian Government is equivalent to water molecules in a bucket so small you couldn't see it with the naked eye

 

If it helps them and him feel refreshed mentally while he's doing such an important job to me that's an extremely small price to pay tbh
