I think the only way out of it involves crushing the GOP completely. Once they're no longer a threat then we can start fracturing the Democratic party and bolstering other options like the Green party. Like if you need to be convinced to vote for a progressive like Bernie or Marianne (they’re not the greatest, I won’t argue w that) then we are simply not on the same side.
