Y'all saying this is ridiculous - but I don't think it is. I'm also not threatened. I will use gifs if I like. Me and my friends have talked about digital blackface for years and acknowledged that we do it sometimes. and sometimes we'll use a gif and be like oops did it again. and just. acknowledge that. and think about why that particular gif seemed the funniest. but it's like. not a huge deal.

I try not to use gifs with people of color. As a white person, that makes me feel most comfortable.. I know I am not going to offend accidentally. Conversation is an art, and I’m fine doing whatever I need to assist in making my point without offending.

And It's funny that this article is only about white people insulting black people in some way. Nothing about asian gifs and hurtful stereotypes about being nerdy nerd or other mean stuff. Only this direction, White -> Black and only this color. I can't wait for the times when I'll have to overanalyze every word and gesture. I'm glad that I don't live in America. But It's funny because being a good person is actually so easy. Just be better everyday, because you're not perfect.

Okay, I feel like this is a possibility when one bases their entire personality on media that portrays POC. An example I have found is IG users creating meme/troll pages that consist of black Bratz dolls, and Twitter humor that utilizes 90% POC (more specifically black people) while being white themselves. I feel like there’s more of a complexity than the headline gives off.
