LaFama 4,609
Blackstar by David Bowie. I love how he decided to experiment with jazz, rock and his pop side. And of course, it gained a new dimension after his passing. You can't help to think this is a man facing his own mortality. S16 by Woodkid. This album feels so dense with it's industrial production, his deep vocals, sad and reflective lyrics. His first album was heavy on the orchestral sound, but this time he managed to mantain a similar feeling, but with machines. Besides this man is absolute artist: singer, composer, designer, director. And the fact that he decided to be openly gay, made it so easy to connect with it. Hideous Bastard by Oliver Sim. Best known as a member of The XX, he made an album about his experience as a gay man and journey with queerness. It goes hand in hand with Hideous, a short film that serves as different music videos, narrating his journey as some kind of horror film.
