Phoenix Rising which documents ERW's fight for the Phoenix Act, a bill the extends the statue of limitations on sexual assault claims in California. It also uses witnesses testimony, Manson's own words from his autobiography, videos and audio of Manson saying he would and fantasizes about killing and bashing ERW's head in, just to name a few.

Buuuut did they also talk about how when manson fantasized about that, evan was laughing and berating him while he was on a bender and suicidal while cutting his wrists everytime she and him called in a night and she would hang up?

or how evan constantly mocked Dita and berated her?

or how Evan lied about manson now letting her family around when Manson literally did A LOT for the family and even went along with family trips, yet evan kept Manson from his own friends?

or how Evan lord about the heart shaped glasses music video (multiple people on set came out saying nothing at all happened and it was Evans idea for the s3x scene)

or how Evan created a fake FBI form and used a fake signature?

or how Evan was using a fans photo for Bianca Allaine and when the actual girl came forward she was berated by Bianca Allaine calling the girl a stalker?

Sis ily but there’s TOO MUCH contradictions and evidence in favor of manson. Like…cmon.

I find the threshold for calling ppl "disgusting" is exceptionally low these days :madge:

If disagreeing with u is "disgusting". That word has no real weight factor anymore

Oh there’s way worse I’d prefer to call them but those words aren’t allowed here

Anyone sticking their necks out to defend someone who collects Nazi paraphernalia is disgusting.

MM has a long, documented track record of intimidation and violent threats against people who accuse him of things, which makes it impossible to take retractions at face value. Too bad some won't think past the headline.

I was a hudge fan (like we are with G). But lemme tell u one thing : I stopped touching his art. And sometimes i miss that.

But i don't touch his name on my lap. It's so possible.

None of this please, thank you.

People simply doubt his innocence despite this retraction of allegations and for many, it's a personal and touchy topic. It's that simple and has nothing to do with being "woke".

I’m sorry but I’ve been here for a while and I respect your efforts as a mod but surely it’s not fine or kind for people to take it personal. Why was one user made fun for his user name on this very thread just for respectfully stating his viewpoint. And wdym by “None of this”? Are we no longer allowed to respectfully state our views? I’m quite alarmed tbh.

The fact that you are incapable to separate situations and judge them individually says everything about you. Never did I ever say he was the greatest guy out there or that I’m even a fan, I literally mentioned that I only cared about the case. Just because he collects nazi paraphernalia doesn’t mean he’s also a r*pist and an abuser. The fact that you can’t see the difference between the two, how unrelated they are and how one doesn’t prove the other nor does it make it impossible for 2 things to be true at the same time says everything about your judgment capabilities and how quick you are to jump at disjointed conclusions.

I don’t have any idea about this case, nor have I looked into it and thus I can’t form an opinion yet. I will say however seeing you and another user getting disrespected and people getting personal with you just for respectfully stating your own personal viewpoint and backing up your reasoning is disgusting. This site has literally become an extremist leftie site and the heavy media conditioning of having to be “woke” and “cancelling the problematic” has somehow replaced having a civil conversation or agreeing to disagree. So sadly I think no point in you sharing the unpopular opinion on here, as it’ll immediately be overlooked and you’ll face backlash for going against the grain.

It’s absolutely true, I wanted to comment on that as well but I didn’t want to bring in politics because of how vile things can get. Unfortunately if you don’t get with the extremist narrative of today even if you have good reasons in not doing so, you will be painted as ‘disgusting’. I even specified how open I was to listening to both sides while studying this case and that I came to this conclusion for A REASON. People act like I just chose to blindly ‘defend’ him because I want to tear women down and ‘contribute to the stigma that surrounds women that face s/a’ as one user claimed. Mind you, most of these people probably know 0 things about this case ( and it shows ) but because I don’t support the women involved ( again, in my opinion with VERY good reason ) I must automatically be problematic because that’s how narrow minded we have become. Nowadays people come to conclusions in situations like these based on the gender of the people involved and get emotionally attached to that conclusion to the point that they start attacking anybody that challenges that. Yes, it’s become very hard to have nuanced conversations, or even any conversation at all without getting painted as vile. But I really don’t care what some random people on the internet think about me, I know why I believe what I believe, can they say the same or is the sheep mentality that’s driving their reasoning? I appreciate your reasonable & kind comment, thank you very much!

That is disturbing but that is a seperate issue to the rape debate and people's view on it which is what the user was arguing about

I don't have an opinion on the rape case btw as I have not followed this nor do I know much about him.

All I said was I don't take retractions from victims in these cases as proof since rich ppl can offer a lot of money to keep one quiet
