Adding to this, I feel like she is known for her huge hits, and that's what the gp go to see her for + the acrobats. Infact her past couple of tours felt like a 'greatest hits' tour with a couple new songs and loads of covers (I don't get why she does SO many covers when she has so many many great songs)

This truly is admirable. Someone who stays true to herself without having to resort to cheap and volatile tiktok strategies 

It's sad how people think a tiktok hit will be beneficial. 99% of those won't be remembered at all in just a couple of years

To be fair I feel like she does a lot less covers now than she used to. I saw her on TTAL Tour and the Beautiful Trauma tour and on the nights I saw her so only did one cover at each show. I know other dates/legs got two, maybe three covers.

With that being said she does lots of covers at one-off shows, festival shows, etc. as opposed to her own tours lately.

interesting as I thought that both TTAL tour and BT had loads of covers, at least the shows in London had about 4 covers (Bohemian Rapshody, River, Time After Time, Just a Girl)

P!nk is not really a streaming artist, she's more ticket attendance power woman. Trustfall seems like a very chill release that didn't have a big hit, just the name alone. Gaga had a lot of advantage because #1 it's Gaga, #2 Blackpink, #2 Ariana Grande, #3 Dance Pop and of course the pandemic.

Oh you’re right about the BT tour having Just A Girl (just a verse as a mashup with Funhouse). My night of the BT Tour had that and Smells Like Teen Spirit, and my night of the TTAL tour only had Wicked Game.

Time After Time was performed on both tours but only on certain legs/dates. River was added to certain European shows on the BT tour and Bohemian Rhapsody was on the Funhouse Tour.

Honestly I also lost interest in her music and albums recently. Her onstage presence and acrobatics are fun still. I found that last album underwhelming to say the least. Mostly bland. Not a single hook or melody stuck in my head. Nothing popping out since All About Us. Trustfall it is in P!nk indeed.

She should have made Trustfall the opening track because in the streaming era track one gets the most plays. Maybe it could have charted that way. 

Anyway, she is a touring artist now. She's not bothered. Women in their mid to late 30s are notoriously blocked out at radio. Her albums are for her fans and to motivate the lucrative touring she does.

Sales aren't everything though. P!nk has sold out her stadium tour in the UK which is the biggest compliment IMO. I would rather lower sales but for a sold out show vs high sales figures vs poor concert numbers. There are many artists out there that pull very high streaming figures but would struggle to sell out an arena tour let alone a stadium tour.

it’s crazy though when you think about it, i feel like most of the popular songs are only the ones that have blown up on tik tok

there is usually not much difference between track 1 and 2. When I Get There was added to New Music Friday Playlists so that's why its numbers were so high.
