He's really good at making dark, melancholic music but set to fun dance-friendly music, it reminds me of the Fame Monster. It'd be neat if he and his producers worked on Gaga's next album with her, especially after Chromatica couldn't fully be the record Gaga wanted it to be due to COVID. His stuff now is retro-based music that doesn’t feel pigeonholed in the past (like Bruno Mars music for example), so it’s fun and fresh and just different enough from the rest of what’s popular that it sticks out in a positive way.
