Paramore new video/single Running Out Of Time

I'm surprised there aren't more threads for Paramore here! Hayley is an absolute queen and the band has been around since 2005 and still producing amazing music all this time later!

Anyway they just released their third single from their latest album This Is Why (which released a couple days ago) and this is my personal fav from the album

this video is SO good omg. it IMMEDIATELY gave me What You Waiting For? by Gwen vibes, but also Crushcrushcrush & Brick by Boring Brick a bit. the video felt very reminiscent of a loooot of different videos from that time period  so so so good

Also I used to do stilt-walking years ago so when I saw Hayley in the stilts singing about always being late... it's like a personal call out  

They just continue to be amazing. Not many bands can stick around for 18 years, and 6 albums in still be making bangers like this

OMG i didn't know how to react to this because THE STILTS?! that's iconic you were able to do that?? then the fact like, it's IN THE VIDEO?! omg

literally, and it's also because they keep evolving and growing as people/ artists/ a band. it's honestly amazing and a part of why i'll always stan. with each album/ era, it feels like i'm going through that era with them. i guess with any of my faves really, but idk. omg and like watching interviews with them, even one of the most recent with zane lowe, you can really see how comfortable they are with eachother

Honestly I'm loving this era, not only are the music, visuals and performances amazing, but they seem to be in the best place ever in their existence as a band.
As a long time fan, I'm so happy they're getting a lot of positive reception. And I think they're a great example of how to grow up with your audience. 
 

This song is so relatable, I laughed the first time I heard it, I was like same girl . But someone said the start sounds like the SpongeBob song and now I can't unhear it 🫠.

Been singing this one since the release, and now going to queue it up while I make dinner  loving the self awareness of how shitty it’s been “post” COVID. I feel so exhausted for no reason sometimes and fall into waves of not wanting to put any effort into anything, and then blaming it on not having enough time

I had to dig through the archives, but I could only find two pictures. This was in 2011  time really goes so fast

 

Yes I'm the same. I've been following them since I was 14.. now I'm 31     it's like we grew up together

I'm always nervous for the day I don't like one of their albums, but it hasn't happened yet!

I love that the first 3 singles are very much 'covid music' but they still relate to now times

It's definitely a weird skill to learn. And it's actually so much exercise! The stilts are metallic so they're super heavy, and you kind of lift them with your lower back? Hard to explain. So our gigs were never longer than 3 hours max and you would feel it the next day    Idk if I could wear heels though! I'd be interested to try

We're getting older   it's such a weird feeling. I don't hate it anymore like I did at 29-30, it just feels so strange

I really wanna like them again but nothing has clicked since Brand New Eyes  Self-titled had like 2-3 decent tracks but everything after that was meh.

I saw a lot of praise for this album and I listened to it and it was... okay? I didn't hate it (except for C'est Comme Ça, that song is horrible), but I wouldn't go back for another listen probably. It's sad because I enjoyed the first 2 singles and was looking forward to the full release but well...
