What artists generally have the longest/shortest songs in their discography? 
 

This is not specific songs but overall in their discography. 
 

The longest has to be Madonna. A vast majority of her songs tend to be 4/5/6 minutes and still making songs that long in her latest album - Madame X

Shortest would prob be Ari? maybe Miley? longest I would've said Lana but maybe it's Madonna

Shortest would definitely be Ava Max and Meghan Trainor. The vast majority of their songs are around 2.30-2.50, some at 3 minutes or so and a song hitting 4 minutes or longer is only once in a blue moon. They follow a very traditional model of pop songwriting, that old school method of believing that making a song short and sweet would heighten its chances of being a hit. You'll notice that songs made up until roughly the 70's were mostly shorter than 3 minutes until we realised songs could actually have more potential if they were longer. But now that short style works very well in today's modern streaming landscape. I partly think that's the reason why Made You Look became such a viral hit as it was only just over 2 minutes which made for much replay value.

Longest? That would have to be Bjork (if you regard her as pop), Madonna and Lana Del Rey. Songs over 4 minutes are a staple and over time, their work has just got even more extended. I think there's a sense of no longer bothering if your song's a hit when you've been in the industry so long so you just want to enjoy experimenting and seeing how far you can push yourself.
