More like Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

I don't want to sound like an olskool show off here, but I vividly remember the ducking, criticism and blames dumped on Kylie Minogue during the 80's. It was totally the same that I read here and there today about Ava.

I really wish young Ava a long lasting career. So, like Kylie, after thirty odd years of crafting hits, or maybe earlier for Ava, she will get the respect she deserves...

She didn't lie, she clearly learn the science... on how to reuse and recycle. :ororomunroe:

Wasn't there a thing 10 years ago that all pop songs basically used the same chord progression which was why they all sounded the same and were easier to like?

If there's a science to it, then there's a formula. And if we've established there's a formula that means it's been done before, plenty of times. Which means it's cheesy. I really like the album and I've listened to it 10-15 times already, but let's not pretend it's revolutionary or innovative. They're bops that rely on tried and tested progressions and psychological brainworms.

Nothing has really changed since, I reckon.

I mean, I agree with her on the part that says creating good pop music is like science, but she hasn’t mastered it with the latest record..

Carly Rae Jepsens Emotion did it and Robyn, imo. Both perfection, sorry Ava
