In a super awkward press conference, Chris Eubank Jr was accused by his opponent of being gay in a homophobic tone. His response? Not to double down with toxic masculinity but to actually wear the pride armband before the game.

Such a stark contrast from Ivan Provorov whose jerseys sold out online after he declared that he was boycotting an LGBT outreach event held by his team, to be "true to himself".

Obviously homophobia continues to be a major issue in sports, as toxic masculinity culture forces many athletes to stay in the closet. But it's very nice to see a few brave ones willing to set the example.
