I don't think there were any wars were the % of soldiers who died was higher than the % of those who survived.

That's true most soldiers are not on front lines

 

However given most kills are between front line soldiers from both sides, the ratio of kills shouldn't change that significantly taken that into account

 

I guess if u start to count deaths from civilians during major wars as well that involve explosions then it's very easy to get a bunch of kills per soldier as an average. But deaths like that are hard to measure and who exactly caused it and I assume the numbers in question in this discussion are referring only to direct kills by a particular soldier

Plus do we know his tone? All the critics here seem to assume he's saying it in a tone of bragging. How do we know that's the case?

Not sure id forget killing 25 ppl either without having to keep score.
