LateToCult 40,902
Alrighty, ladies. Time for another poll. The O.C. was a very popular teen drama from the 2000s that featured two very great songs during its run. “Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap is the one you’ll probably be most familiar with. It’s the song with the iconic “Mmmm what’d you say” that later went on to become the backbone of Jason Darulo’s smash hit “Whatcha Say.” The song was used during the climax of a finale episode. ”California” is an indie rock song by Phantom Planet that was used as the theme song for the show. It was a bit controversial for drawing lots of inspiration from another song titled “California, Here I Come.” Its roots are pop but I think it does a great job of embodying the angst of the show. I personally prefer California over HaS BUT they’re both songs that get stuck in my head.
Guest
This show has such a good soundtrack, I learned about so much good music through the it. I guess if I had to pick one song from the series I'd pick For The Widows In Paradise by Sufjan Stevens.

ssslyboy 3,273
Hide and Seek was such a tear jerker moment for me. Also a big fan of the Phantom Planet theme song.
