Idk I feel like You & I would fit so well on Joanne!! It would be sooooo good on that album!  I’m glad we got it so early with BTW, and I’m glad BTW has a track that goes somewhere other dance euro dance, so I’m not saying YOU AND I doesn’t belong on BTW, I just think it would fit soo well on Joanne!

but that’s Gaga, she always has a piano driven track on her albums so that’s the one we got w btw.

what album would you put you & I on?

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

I think it fits perfectly on BTW tbh. I've always got more pop/rock vibes from that album. Only songs like Scheiße are the exception

It fits in BTW quite well since it's a nice break from the more dance elements while it compliments the more rock/ pop rock elements from the album, but I do agree it would also be a natural fit for Joanne.

It fits Born This Way perfectly. Joanne with it’s country and folk influences doesn’t really feel like home for You and I which is this big stadium ballad with Brian May on the guitar.

Born This Way is an album that is meant to be heard LOUD and live with a big audience. Joanne sounds more like a very intimate project that you hear at home on vinyl. Yes it has a couple of poppy songs in there but You and I would've been quite a change in there.

But with songs like Diamond Heart, A-YO, John Wayne, Perfect Illusion… I feel like YOU & I fits in very well!
like I said, it’s great on BTW, but I do feel like it would’ve also flowed well on Joanne.

You know, this actually. I never thought about it but even the "stadium shakers" like PI and Diamond Heart, sonically speaking, sound more intimate than Yoü and I. Must be the analog production, I guess?

Bonkers

TBH, she should have saved it for Addison Rae's debut album.  :huntyga:

Born This Way because it was sonically tailored for that album, and that opening sound is so electro-pop-rock.

But I could totally see it being able to be tweaked to better fit either Joanne (Folkier sounds, probably deeper vocals, shorter length) or ASIB (more live instrumentation, more 70s than 80s)

Oc BTW. Joanne could never handle such a masterpiece

But it fits Diamond Heart very well which Is also one of Gaga’s most underrated and under appreciated masterpieces
