2023: Biggest Concert Cycle Ever?

Will 2023 go down in history as THE year of the concert? Here are just some of the massive tours planned for the new year:

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour will visit stadiums across North America, playing two or three(!) nights at most venues. Over 2 million tickets have been sold for the tour, with leading retailer Ticketmaster canceling the general on-sale due to uncontrollable demand.

P!nk's 2023 Summer Carnival is taking over sports grounds, including the iconic Fenway and Wrigley ballparks. P!nk's 2018-19 world tour broke records and solidified the pop veteran's legacy as an unmissable live performer—now, as P!nk treks across Europe and North America five years later, she's bringing Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, and more along for what is sure to be another sold-out effort.

Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour kicked off in 2022 but will run through 2023. Sheeran's previous outing set the record for highest-grossing concert tour in history and now he's seeking to break his own record with a string of stadium dates; those efforts will be boosted stateside by double shows in the 60,000+ capacity MetLife Stadium and Gillette Stadium in East Rutherford and Foxboro, respectively.

Morgan Wallen's One Night at a Time Tour, which follows a barnstorming 2022 for the single biggest act in country music, will visit the biggest venues—by far—of Wallen's career, including the first-ever three-show stand at Boston's Fenway Park. With support from rising stars HARDY, Parker McCollum, Ernest, and social media sensation Bailey Zimmerman, the sky is the limit for this show.

Other major tours announced thus far include Carrie Underwood's Denim and Rhinestones Tour, Arctic Monkey's North American Tour 2023, Paramore's This is Why Tour, and Metallica's M72 Stadium Tour

I really don't want to go to a concert again for a long time. I traveled 2 hours to see Panic at The Disco and they canceled the show 30 minutes before the doors to the venue opened because of COVID.

If all goes well, I will open the year with a Slipknot show, and then BLACKPINK shows few days after that. Eclectic or eclectic?   :flower:

But on topic, the longest tour could be between Sheeran, Swift & Yoncé.
