Consent is very important but there are different types of violations and "surprises". An unexpected kiss isn't always unwelcome and definitely not always traumatic. In that situation you can be sure the actor is not traumatized. In life you can tell when something is going to be traumatic for someone most of the time. I trust her to size up a situation. People want to equate things too often in life. And I know a lot of people on this site will disagree with me, but just because you can attach a heavy word like "consent" to a situation doesn't mean it's the best reflection of what happened.
