Not Cringe Gaga Tattoo?

I know a lot of you guys have Gaga tattoos, and I'm contemplating having my first tattoo be something subtley Gaga related for various reasons 

Cringe is subjective I guess - but what makes a Gaga tattoo cringey in your opinion, and what did you do to avoid having your Gaga tattoo seem cringey in retrospect if you already have one? Or do you think they're cringe but just don't care bc they're special to you? lol 

And yes, please share pictures if you would like to show off your Gaga tattoos

This isn't just for tattoos, but generally I'm not a fan of having an explicit image of something (i.e., a face, name, etc.). I like something more subtle, like a symbol or a really specific reference. If you want a Gaga tattoo, maybe get something that symbolizes your favorite album/era.

On the nose references generally cringey, but it's still sweet. Paws up is pretty cringe, but not that eww cringe, I can still appreciate that it's cute.

You know what would be cool tattoos though? Maybe one of her iconic heels in small size, or that full blown Gaga portrait in her Marina Abramovic era is pretty timeless I would say, beautiful like Monalisa almost.

I’ve been told mine are lowkey cringy . I have a clam shell on my left hip, MJH on my ankle, and a lightening bolt, cross, and triangle on my right bicep with ‘ARTPOP’ under that

I have 13 tattoos and 7 of them are Gaga related, honestly who cares if it’s considered cringe. It’s your body, your choice especially if it has meaning to you!!

maybe this is shady idk but for me it's like.. the level of skill behind the tattoo.. if it's really well done, i don't care what it is I'll think "wow, beautiful" vs poorly done I'll prob think yikes

depending on the quote and font, could be cringe.

I like the idea of tattooing an excerpt from a song’s lyrics that is meaningful to you. I think about tattooing “each time your love seems to save the day” as I reminder of self love and self compassion. Because I need to remind myself of this constantly

This! I’m also not a fan of tattooing faces and names. I definitely prefer something more subtle, even cryptic, that only another fan would understand.

I got an ENIGMA logo tattoo in UV-activated ink after seeing the show on its opening week, located on the side of my wrist like Gaga's ARTPOP ... so on the day to day, it's invisible, but when I go out to clubs it appears.

*bonus is: it looks exactly like the logo, cause it is like a neon sign

I have the Judas cross on my right wrist, the only problem is some people think is an inverted cross (I tattoed it so it would be standing up when I raise my hand), but whatever

I also have the Celebration Tour cross mixed with the MDNA cross on my left wrist (the same thing with the inverted cross)

And I have a Xiu Xiu tattoo in the back of my right hand that says f*g patrol and a little bat (this is one of their albums and the bat it's the symbol that was in one of the versions of it)

 

So I say, symbols are cool, they're not as obvious and you can be creative with them

The Fame cover sunglasses, just the sunglasses
Armadillo heel
the peace sign she has on her wrist
her eye with BTW makeup on/any makeup you LOVE
lil monster paw
the unicorn on her thigh, love that would get it like 3 inches big

I have the Perfect Illusion lyrics "I don't need eyes to see" tattooed on my wrist in gaga's handwriting. I chose the lyrics as a way to always follow my gut and be wary of all of the different kinds of "perfect illusions" in my life. It means a lot to me in general and the fact that its subtley gaga and no one knows it makes it extra special!
