A lot of the people on the cover have years-long careers so I'm not sure why they're the face of the 2022 nepo-baby boom. Always glad for an exposé tho!

This article is so interesting because I'm finding out that some celebrities were in a relationship, and others are the children of famous people.

Daniel Day-Lewis and Isabelle Adjani were together?

That girl in Grey's Anatomy is Steven Spielberg's daughter?

Grace Gummer is married to Mark Ronson?

The girl in Emily in Paris is Phil Collins' daughter?

Miley Cyrus is related to Dolly Parton? (I'm sure I'm the only one here who didn't know that yet)

I knew that Jamie Lee Curtis had nepotism roots but I didn't know she was Janet Leigh's daughter.

The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

Some of these people have been pretty vocal in the past year (Rose Depp) denying nepotism played a role in their careers. It was pretty laughable and caused a lot of stir online, so some people started realizing other actors/models/singers are also nepo babies.

I think some people are confused that it's only nepotism if they use their parents name/celebrity to become famous themselves, but its really only the act of getting the job itself. So really it doesn't matter how long they've been working, they originally had it easier starting work because of their parents. If a famous person got their kid a good job at Warner Bros working in their props dept that would still be nepotism, we just don't care because its not a famous job.

This. It’s so annoying how obsessed society is with celebrities so much as to make nepotism a thing in Hollywood when literally Family owned businesses are completely ignored (and should be). I mean…where’s the article about the Walmart family empire? Right. No one cares cause they’re not celebrities.

I find it weird that so many people act like nepotism is a new concept or that it's only just started to become really prevalent in the industry. It's existed literally since the dawn of Hollywood and many of the stars that are widely respected and revered got their start in the industry due to some form of nepotism. It's also very common in other industries too, not just Hollywood. Of course, I think that opportunities shouldn't be taken from talented people who don't have the same connections, but the industry has never really been fair. Articles like these feel a little mean spirited.

This is nothing new. Many celebrities are famous because of who their parents are/were. Angelina Jolie is Jon Voight’s daughter. Mariska Hargitay is Jayne Mansfield’s daughter. But the two of them actually are talented and earned their success as actresses. Others just throw around their family name and Hollywood caters to them.

In the first tweet who is the man on the top left?

John David Washington (son of Denzel Washington). He’s actually very talented and has starred in Spike Lees BlacKkKlansman, and Christopher Nolan’s Tenent.
