Cameltoe Chariot

...it's a modern masterpiece, me thinks :diane:

The fact that it's the third remake in a row starring a gay icon (Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and now Ms. Germanotta :staymad:) is iconic already.

Bradley Cooper's decision to weave Gaga's own story into the fabric of ASIB is a brilliant choice! There are so many moments that could only work with Gaga as Ally (the nose scenes always make me smile!)... I can't imagine anyone else in the role.

The film received numerous accolades, such as eight nominations for the 91st Academy Awards including:

- Best Picture, Best Actor (Cooper)
- Best Actress (Gaga)
- Best Supporting Actor (Elliott)
- Best Original Song for "Shallow" (won)

It also earned five nominations at the 76th Golden Globe Awards, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, and won Best Original Song for "Shallow".

On Rotten Tomatoes, 90% of 532 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8/10. The website's consensus reads, "With appealing leads, deft direction, and an affecting love story, A Star Is Born is a remake done right—and a reminder that some stories can be just as effective in the retelling."

On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 88 out of 100, based on 60 critics, indicating "universal acclaim".

Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the film an average grade of "A" on an A+ to F scale,[65] while PostTrak reported film-goers gave it a 90% positive score.

ASIB also topped many major Top Ten lists for 2018 releases, including:

...ANYWAY just wanted to share :sis:

And this has nothing to do with the weird smear campaign against ASIB that popped up yesterday on GGD :enigma:

i love how this project had doomed to fail written all over it considering the factors like it being a 3rd remake of a mixed received film, being stuck in development (whatever the word is) for years, constant changes to cast and director but it SMASHED in every aspect

mother, what must i do?

ASIB is huge

It's a major turning point in Gaga's career

The locals, straights, and different generations, ate it up

There was no escaping the phenomenon

It's got an incredible soundtrack and I'd say the first half of the film is the best.

:firega:

Kind regards

A couple of threads randomly popped up yesterday on here saying her movies aren't worth rewatching.

So I laid out all the facts :staymad:

It really is a modern classic :tony:

Also Gaga had an amazing experience working on the film, and it's success gave her so many exciting opportunities now!
