As for the 911 metal thing, I just don't see it. There's some Metal influences on Born This Way.

I guess most want dark electronic pop music with industrial vibes and rock/metal aesthetics (and rock vocals)

A full rock or metal album would be a great suit for Gaga but neither 911 or Born This Way have nothing to do with that (except very light influences on some tracks). As for the aesthetic, she's been dressing in leather over a red background since The Monster Ball I think
