Twilight: is Jacob’s love for Renesmee problematic?

I don't remember the details of this because I only read the books and never watched the films BUT I feel like it was weird tbh. That said I always tried to view it as like in ancient times when kings of different kingdoms would arrange marriages for their kids between different royal families before a kid is even born to secure peace between kingdoms. Sometimes a king from one country would promise his like 10 year old son to a newly born princess from another kingdom so when she is like 16 (they used to marry young back then) she will automatically marry his son who will be 26 at that point. It's weird but that's how things happened back then. But it still does not make this less weird because the movies were set in modern times. Like it felt like grooming low key.
