After the couple sold the house and were packed and all ready to go and essentially ended their life in Canada, the husband finds out at the airport his entry into the US is denied because of the time he spent as a conscript in Iran's military after the Trump administration labeled the IRGC a terrorist organization Abolhassani says much of the military is tied to the IRGC and that it is not a choice to go and that he had to join the military.
