I can see the same problem from Avatar 1 just by looking at the trailer  :saladga:

The screenplay will be kind of the same but with water and not trees

I mean it's visually pretty but the story looks like the first one but underwater? Why did this need 13 years to finish? :air:

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Like you spent 10 years and probably a billion dollars on this self important tragically basic muppet show

This looks incredibly epic. The visuals are stunning. We don’t even know the story yet but everyone’s gotta be negative. Just let the people who are excited be excited.

I seriously don’t understand the hate for this movie/franchise….

I enjoyed the first one and I have high expectations for this one

I don't hate it but I don't understand the hype for it either. It's a mediocre copy paste story (Pocahontas says hi) with basic dialogues. Good popcorn cinema, expensive CGI, but not the movie of the century as some people make it out to be.
But then again, I also don't really feel the Marvel hype, so I guess I'm simply not the target group.

Everyone is saying the story is the same but like... how do yall know? 😅

Like. I understand there isn't much in the trailer that alludes to the plot in Way of Water, but yall don't really know what's going on.

And hell, let's say it is the same - let's say the movie picks up and the humans are still trying to destroy the Navis' homeland. There are literally dozens of cinematic series that take multiple films to finish the storyline (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Transformers, Fast and Furious say hi). Like it may have one MAJOR plot across all films, but this trailer also introduces new lands, new characters and new enemies (at least, their mech seems new).

The point is - if you don't like it, cool. But the first movie has a massive following, myself included. Pandora at Disney World is one of the busiest lands with the highest wait times in the entire resort, and we can discuss the sheer amounts of money this film raked in during its original release and re-releases, but that would take too much time that I don't have atm.

Don't judge the movie because James Cameron wants to keep the plot locked up until release. Just appreciate the beauty of the trailer for what it is and if it stoke excitement for you - Great! If not - I'm sure there are other movies you can have excitement for.

You can't hide who you are, 11:59.
