i love how she embraces her previous eras and pays homage to them from time to time (especially now with The Eras Tour)

it gives long-time swifties a sense of nostalgia and wonderment every single time

Doesn't she does this every era? :awkney:

I think Taylor doesn't have a chamaleonic style and enough iconic era looks like Gaga, Madonna, or even Rihanna to pull this properly.

Lmao yet somehow I (who is not even TS fan) can distinctly recognise every single one of her eras from these looks.

Really? She definitely has a defined aesthetic for every era. Her fashion isn't extravagant or completely transformational but she is great at creating unique imagery for each and every era. Look at a picture of Taylor and you'll know what album era it's from... even with so many albums! I think she deserves to be credited for that tbh. She makes each era feel new and exciting and is still managing to do that with Midnights.

You’re lying if you think Taylor’s albums don’t have a clearly refined aesthetic and visual direction.

Take any photo from Red, 1989, reputation, folklore… You can tell what period of time they belong in.

Don't be insecure if your heart is pure.

Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not there
