ChicaSkas 22,287 Posted October 31, 2022 Share Posted October 31, 2022 Every year for about a decade now I've been compiling the very best remixes from around the web to present to all of you on Halloween, to use for your parties, your gaga themed playlists, etc. Each year has a different flavor to it, this one is most definitely Chromatica flavored and has a hint of classics such as Bloody Mary and Bad Romance. I want to give a resounding thank you to my partner in aural crimes @danbekim for being there to pull me back on track and remind me how badass and how fun making these albums is, and helping me sniff down all kinds of rare obscurities. An especially fantastic track is the epic Titus Jones piece of Alice's Head Will Roll -- a mash up of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gaga, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Avril Lavigne, and more. The dubsteppy Bad Romance is another favorite along with a great Halloweened up Judas piece by Vanderly Veras. The absolute standout here as well is a premiere of a remix made by the incomparable @JoeMo, who expertly handles Government Hooker with new vocals overlaid dexterously next to Gaga's. Well done. I can't stop playing that sick beat! Past Gagaweens will be available later in this thread shortly for all of you to download. Since 2021 didn't come to fruition last year due to all kinds of real life crap, Dani and I decided that Gagaween 2021 will be a compilation of 1 track from each of the 10 years' previous Gagaween compilation albums. They have been going on since 2012, 2021 was the first year I fell off track. All that being said, please enjoy with all of my copious love and affection. Perhaps she ended up with a lot of material and had to cut it down so the album wasn't too long.
