Controversiaga

Well you know what, it is very considerate of her team to respond to the people who were hurt by it. Regardless if we want to debate whether or not they should’ve felt hurt.

they took action and are making it clear they didn’t mean to hurt anyone so good for them

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

people r too sensitive just because she isn't overweight doesn't mean she hasn't struggled with her weight

Don't think she should have to compromise her art because of a loud twitter minority, it's relatable and if you're that easily triggered then you shouldn't even be online cause you could see something like that anywhere:ohwell:

“Trigger warning” culture can become toxic pretty quick. At some point you just end up living in an unrealistic bubble where you never see anything you disagree with instead of the real world where you can learn to shrug (most things) off.

Of course there’s different scenarios for domestic violence, abuse, etc. but if you can’t handle seeing a word like “fat” without it sending you into a spiral, that may be something you yourself needs to address, not force others to avoid the word so you can stay in your bubble

exactly! It's deluded to believe the world and people are 'perfect' when the reality is far from that - they're only setting themselves up for disaster as they won't be able to handle the real world the more they stay in their safe bubble

REALITY

Listen, as someone who has been overweight their whole life and has been made fun of for it, she didn't do anything wrong. It wasn't "fatphobic" of her to include that in the MV. Also, the point of that scene wasn't to say that she was fat and that people who look like her are fat. I swear, people nowadays look at things at and immediately get triggered by it without critically thinking about what they're watching. Media literacy has really gone down the drain.

Pretty much same. My weight has fluctuated a lot and as of rn I’m a thicc boi and honestly, I feel her in the video a lot. It’s something a lot of us just kinda fear not because being fat is oh my god so gross and yucky and ew it’s just the societal standard of looking down on people who are either a little chubby or overly skinny. Like why get mad at her for showing how she reacts to something when we should be mad at the actual reason it’s happening?

Can't blame her for doing so, she hates getting bad reputation, so it makes sense for her to take action to avoid controversy.
