It always takes me out when people try to cast younger actresses for roles that clearly meant for older women (especially when there are barely any interesting roles to go for them to go around in the first place). I fully agree, it's easier to deage her for flashbacks and make up can make her look closer to the state Calla's was at the end of her life. Also, Angelina is a great actress. It's criminal that her career never went that far post Gone Girl. I watched A Private War a while ago and thought she absolutely deserved a nom for that performance.
