I understand that it may sound inappropriate, but I suggest you paid little attention to their TV shows. Even the official government reports on the conditions of state TV and their audience prior to the pandemic revealed a staggering decline in viewership numbers and the stubborn fact that their audience was shrinking to the age groups of 55+. The advertisement agencies are deserting them and the state TV are in dire need of  boosting their audience numbers somehow, unless they want to lose the state funding.
