Yes, and people may be bisexual but in a long term hetero relationship and because of that they do not feel the need to come out because they are committed to this person for life.  But regardless, no one should feel the need or pressure to come out.

Which is still considered a lavender relationship because bisexuality exists! I have never felt so gaslit as a bisexual/pan woman in a heteronormative appearing relationship.  The extreme "all or nothing" vibe feels so toxic. She doesn't owe an explanation of her private life to anyone, let her music exist, and if it provides comfort - cool! Why are people letting Taylor Swift dictate what their own identities mean?

There have been a lot of overreactions. Like any fanbase not everybody agrees on the same things. Lately the idea of 'gaylor' has gone mainstream and news articles have interviewed newer fans or quoted them in general. This has started an increase in stan twt drama I suppose. Us older ones know to keep our mouths shut.

If you are a public gaylor on twitter you will receive hate. I've been told to die, I've been called slurs, I've been told g*ylors deserve to be raped. Through DM or just replies. This happens to a lot of us, we are harassed and there is a reason I just made my account private. Swifties have doxxed gaylors before, one of my friends actually had them contact her work. What the hell is with that? Who finds out someones boss and outs them just because they called her fruity on twitter. Minors were outed to their parents in 2020, we are concerned it could happen again. The subreddit wasn't shut because we think she confirmed anything, it's shut to prevent harassment. 

I'm still a fan and this isn't even a big deal. The main reason we are annoyed is the amount of harassment we have received in the past 24 hours. Taylor saying 'weird rumours' and everyone jumping to the gay rumours is really frustrating. Yes, the lavender thing is annoying some but once again not all gaylors think the same things. The ones that are loudest get attention and anything to make us look stupid gets clicks.

This is hilarious, I'm almost writing an essay on pop star stan drama. There's a big divide in the swifties and the gaylors. I agree some gaylors are insane but it's ridiculous tbh. We're basically preparing for another doxxing to happen.

This will probably open the question of "aren't you outing Taylor?" but that's not what we do. We can only access public information. We don't know her, we make our assumptions based on her lyrics/interviews/performances. Whatever. There have been a few people who outed her in the industry but that's not what I'm interested in talking about. She's 100% part of the LGBT community and the rumours have existed before she was dating Joe Alwyn.
