Moldova monitoring the situation in Transnistria after the mobilization

In the context of the mobilization announced by Russia, the Intelligence and Security Service from Chisinau is also keeping an eye on the Transnistrian region. The statement was made by Alexandru Musteață, head of the SIS from the Republic of Moldova. 

Referring to the flow of citizens from the Transnistrian region, in the context of a possible order by the alleged leader from Tiraspol regarding the mobilization of people on the Russian side, Alexandru Musteață explained that "we, those in the institution I lead, have the necessary methodology and the ability to get data, to know, often ahead of time".

The head of the SIS also said that "as far as the Transnistrian region is concerned, even now there is no impediment for citizens to cross the right side of the Dniester, one. Two: Chisinau considers those who are there citizens of the Republic of Moldova. And then it's hard to put certain filters and say that this is good and this is bad."
