Economy 42,030
https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/09/20/the-fed-is-now-expected-to-keep-raising-rates-then-hold-them-there-cnbc-survey-shows.html  The market is pricing in the US Central Bank (Federal Reserve) raising rates up to 4.26% and leaving it there for some time as it agressively seeks to fight Inflation  Currently the US has the 2nd highest interest rate in developed world after after Canada
Economy 42,030
Also 2 year government bond yields are around 4%... Never thought I'd see rates this high again anytime soon  They are also slightly higher than Canada's which means the market expects rates in the US will ultimately be raised to the highest in the developed world

Extreme capitalism needs to end. Now There's a lot of flaws I don't like about capitalism  I'm not sure what's extreme about these rates tho. They are still low by historical standards... If they peak a little over 4% this cycle that will be a peak that is barely hitting long term average  Also in real terms these rates are technically still negative because they are lower than the current inflation rate Edited September 24, 2022 by Economy

There's stuff that isn't. Again, even the most basic and primative tribal communities had an economy regardless of whether or not they did any kind of modern trading or buying/selling of goods as we know it or not Edited September 24, 2022 by Economy
