‘Greatest Hits’ Project

Even though greatest hit compilations are pretty out of style due to the availability of music with digital outlets and streaming services, they’re not that obsolete. The Weeknd released “The Highlights” in 2021 to coincide with his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, Nicki Minaj just released “Queen: Volume 1” to coincide with the release of Super Freaky Girl and receiving the MJ Video Vanguard Award. 

So let’s say we did get a full fledged greatest hits project from Gaga, what would you want it to look like? What songs would be and wouldn’t be included? What are some cool ways they could design and release it?

i honestly lowkey think if she did a Greatest Hits album (which she will prob never do but who knows) it would include what SHE thinks are her greatest works. 

Besides obvious hits like Poker Face and Shallow and Bad Romance, i could see songs like Bloody Mary being included

I envision it being like GHV2 where the songs are generally in chronological order but some are out of place

I've always imagined a greatest hits album being an acoustic collection. Kind of like the Abbey Road sessions by Kylie. Some could feature some jazzy elements and additional acoustic instrumentation. Or some completely acapella arrangements.

I’d rather her do a mini era like Kylie’s Anti tour - few stops in intimate venues around the world. Maybe NY, LA, Tokyo and London (and Brazil if we wanna see people injure one another for tickets ) and a setlist comprised of some of her favorite unreleased songs, deep cuts, fan favorites etc. Top it off with a live album and a documentary and 

To me Greatest Hits albums are a bit redundant in the age of streaming. Unless she tweaks the songs and reinterprets them. Piano versions etc. would be interesting ofc. But sth like Madonna’s Celebration would be a little pointless I think.

I’d be here for it if they remastered the songs and re-recorded the vocals.  I’d love to hear those belts she does live when performing Alejandro recorded into an official release.

I think an album of unreleased material would be better! Finally some good quality versions of Brooklyn Nights, etc!
