Incidents took place at Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan&Pakistan-Afganistan borders

The borderline between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan is a MESS with hundreds of exclaves and enclaves thanks to how much the Soviet administration enjoyed taking advantage of local rivalries in the area. With Russia on its way out the region is more prone to infighting obviously…

However a much more important facet of all this will be the availability of water. The countries in this region, bar Kazakhstan have high population growth rates whereas their environment has been steadily declining for decades. People have been predicting a conflict over water for a while now and this feels like one of the footsteps. The last time there was a massive famine in Central Asia didn’t end well for the rest of the world so let’s hope this time it works out for the better

The French and British are infamous in the mainstream for the way they drew borders in Africa and the Middle East, yet you never really hear about these which are just as bad and acted as the causes for many disputes and even conflicts over the years:

Oh trust me these will come into forefront as the conflicts move from the Middle East to Central Asia. Imperialism is always imperialism, irregardless of nation.

To be fair they kind of did that to destabilize Afghanistan as the two countries share a lot of ethnic groups that could potentially unite and break away from Pakistan. That being said I don't really buy the Taliban would turn against Pakistan.
