I used to like him more on his Larry era, now is just so cringe to watch sometimes

The vitriol and hate Harry gets is so disgusting. Keep in mind Gaga was attacked during ARTPOP and most of us found it disgusting yet here we are doing the same to another singer.

1. No one needs to come out no matter how big a star they are

2. kisses, wearing dresses etc are not just the domain of queer people or out queer people. In fact it is really toxic to tell people they are queer baiting when they do wear effeminate clothes. It actually feeds into toxic masculinity that only queers can dress or behave that way.

Go to North Africa or anywhere in the arab world and go tell two men who have been holding hands for decades as a friendship and to show affection to stop because they are straight men and "queerbaiting". As men you are allowed to kiss, hug, caress any men you want, whether you are bisexual, straight, asexual, or anything else under the sun. Stop it! Stop treating men this way especially straight men, let them have emotions, hug, caress and kiss in peace seriously, it's very toxic. As women we always do it we never get accused of being a lesbian or queerbaiting so why not them? Not cool y'all

https://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/01/weekinreview/why-arab-men-hold-hands.html

"Holding hands is the warmest expression of affection between men," said Samir Khalaf, a sociology professor at American University of Beirut in Lebanon. "It's a sign of solidarity and kinship." In fact, if a man chooses not to touch another in a greeting, it can be interpreted as a sign of distance or disdain.

The way you all claim only queer people are allowed to wear dresses or kiss same sex friends. Male Europeans have been kissing their male friends for years.  Stop reinforcing gay:straight stereotypes in the name of virtue signalling with the term “queerbaiting”.

I have a theory... All of you haters accusing him of queerbaiting blah blah... Are you getting laid or you wish to do it with him? Honest question, I can feel so much anger that I can't understand

No, its just asinine when a famous person pretends to be gay when their not to appease gay people and get their money

Literally everyone is giving him hatred. No one is giving him any money. It's not even queerbaiting anymore technically. No one is taking the bait. :partysick:

We criticize toxic masculinity and say it’s important for men to be allowed to break masculine stereotypes if they choose to, but when someone like Harry Styles does it, somehow the queer community gate-keeps these things because he’s chosen not to label his sexuality? That on its own seems so incredibly toxic to me. I understand that queerbaiting is real and a valid concern, but however he identifies, even if he’s completely straight, he has been an outstanding ally, has meant a lot to many queer people, and is helping to break the molds of toxic masculinity. Yet the queer community shames him for it.
