A fully Gaga X Zedd ARTPOP

Would you have been here for a fully Gaga X Zedd album, similar to Mark’s role in Joanne and BloodPop’s role in Chromatica? Zedd talked about how Gaga wanted him to “produce my next album” but he ended up only being credited on 1/5th of the songs.

Just a reminder these are the songs they worked on that we’ve heard:

Aura

G.U.Y.

Donatella

Stache

Hallelujah

Aura and G.U.Y are sonically some of my favorite Gaga songs, personally I satisfied with ARTPOP as we know it, but I would love for Gaga to work with Zedd again:tony:

No. I love Zedd and think he's very talented but his sound is very "same ish" and a little dated right now. I'd have hated an ARTPOP full of his music from start to finish.

This is something I liked about DJ White Shadow. He went from Government Hooker, Electric Chapel and Bloody Mary to something like Applause, Swine, Manicure, Do What U Want, ARTPOP, Sex Dreams, Jewels N' Drugs, etc.

Of course at the end of the day it is Gaga's decision what her music will sound like because RedOne's work with other artists was not the same as Gaga's but still, I'm not sure how Zedd as executive producer would work, he's not that versatile that I know of.

Maybe if it was back several years ago but not now. His sound is dated and Gaga's voice and artistry has matured beyond Zedd's sounds.

technically Infected Mushroom made Aura, Zedd just chopped it up :lolly:

i like GUY but production errors make it painful to listen to and Donatella is meh, never liked Stache :lolly:

mother, what must i do?

If it was 2013, then yes. Currently, I would prefer a whole Madeon album from Gaga; if I had a choice to pick an ARTPOP producer.

Edit: I know that he wasn’t part of ARTPOP’s production, but a GagaxSkrillex album could SLAP, too.

I liked Zedd back then and loved the handful of Madeon songs that were out.

I catch Zedds sets whenever he plays at the festivals but honestly, it’s not the best. He plays 60-90 seconds of his songs and other well known generic hits. It pleases the masses but isn’t too creative IMO. He is still a heavy hitter in dance music and he was great for the early 2010’s.

Madeon is still amazing to me. I love the whole Porter Robinson collaborations and his own stuff too. I went to his Good Faith tour a few years ago and it was so visually and aesthetically beautiful. Madeon has that artistry in him. I thoroughly enjoyed his EDC set this year too. I was lucky to meet him outside the venue before the BTW Ball. Only like two other ppl knew who he was but I got a pic with him.

I loved Zedd's production on ARTPOP so yeah I'd love to have seen him do more in 2013, but if it was done now I'd probably prefer to see someone different on it.

Martin Garrix is trying some interesting stuff in the EDM world and seeing as Gaga has now worked with Skrillex and Axwell x Ingrosso, they're probably more likely to work with her next if she returns to dance music next.

DJWS produced some amazing stuff, but just for ARTPOP I personally would’ve loved it being more or all Zedd and Madeon.

I don’t think Madeon was used to his full potential whatsoever, and I bet she and Zedd produced some crazier stuff that was left behind
