I think she has some point though! Mostly in the way that like… if Beyoncé would have done the genre in 2012, people would enjoy it because it’s her, but it may not have taken off as hard. but now that it was starting to crop up beforehand and then Beyoncé jumped on it, it’s now going to be heavily mainstream because Beyoncé has such pull in the industry/media in general.

I don’t think this is at all a down play of Gaga or any artist that started up House music again recently, more like it probably wouldn’t have happened again without them.
