Guest
OMG i can't stand it, I can't even read it, it hurts my heart, seriously. ugh We all bust our asses just to get money, and he gets to choose his path with monumental opportunities, and quick access. If it was us we would need a diploma, cooking classes, work in a homeless shelter to cook food there, then competitions to be the best, be part of the best, work with the best which takes a lot of hard work, then you get to work in a restaurant with a couple stars, and only then you can have the luck to know people in show business, maybe not, maybe yes. It's not his fault he's born with this but it nauseates me, can't read **** like this
Levine 23,562
Being a cook is so tiring and hard, I have a cousin who basically has no social life becuase he's a cook in a restaurant. Ok, he chose this and of course he loves his job, but his dream of opening his own restaurant could never become reality because its TOO damn difficult. And then arrive people like this Brooklyn who can't even make a sandwich and do that. It's frustrating, infuriating. But I do think it's our fault. We let these rich people do whatever the **** they want without saying **** and now these are the results.

But it must feel like a slap on the face for people who invested years in schools and hard trainings. As for so many people cooking on a professional level is about talent and discipline. And for others, all it takes is money. This! People go through a whole lot, some start to the bottom, in charities, then competitions are very hard, i saw a docu bout it on TV. We talking bout hours and hours of work, intense stress, breakdowns etc to be part of the best is HARD in cooking, then once you succeed and get to work with the best, doesn't mean u could even have your own reality tv show, let alone your own brand. Beckham goes straight up to the top, the end of the achievement, with no achievement, it's so funny

It's a Trump syndrome. A lot of narcissism but covering up inadequacy because they can never know what they're truly capable of in life. They will never know, imagine that. But i'm sure they're fine, they had money their whole lives, they make a little more, they get married, they travel, they die. But i guess it's a philosophical question of, do you wanna know yourself deeply? I think to know urself u gotta know what ur able to do in this life on your own, something nepotist kids could never achieve, they'll always be surrounded by illusions and be protected by a golden cage. I say let them. What bothers me is whent hey demand respect out of it tho lol bye
JazzGa 14,620
Gotta hand it to him him for trying to forge his own path different from his uberfamous parents. Too bad that trying to run a restaurant will ruin any chef's enjoyment of cooking Maybe with a Kardashian-style reality show, they'll make oodles of $$$ and won't need to worry about regular restaurateur stuff like profit margins My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <

StrawberryBlond 14,820
It just amazes me that he has all these lofty ambitions with absolutely no proof he can achieve them. His parents have helped him every step of the way and he still gives up and quits every opportunity he's been given. He recently became a model for Superdry and they dropped him not long ago because he wasn't up to the commitments they had set in place for him. I'm not saying modelling's an easy job but it's not like he's doing back-breaking labour from 9-5 and he still can't be bothered trying the most simple of tasks. And he doesn't even have the excuse of having kids to look after or anything like that. And if he says he's been cooking all the time during lockdown, why is it that the best he could conjure up on that cooking show segment be nothing more than a sandwich? Clearly, he's selling the idea that he's really into cooking with no evidence to back that claim up. He says he's almost 100% self-taught (that doesn't mean you're good), he wants all the cooking utensils but not want to be like a chef (because that would require hard work), he wants to set up a pub selling healthy comfort food ( an oxymoron if ever I heard one as I've never seen a pub that serves healthy food) and doesn't seem to be aware that LA is a massively competitive market when it comes to eating establishments and new restaurants on average fail within the first year of opening. But what does he have to lose if a venture fails? He has enough money to try something (or nothing) for the rest of his life. 62 person crews for an amateur's cooking spot? 8 minute episodes costing $100k each? Even I didn't realise the Beckhams were this rich. Clearly the kind of rich where you don't even think twice about what you're putting your money into. I would ordinarily say that if you're born to rich and famous parents but have no discernible talent or ambitions, to just stick to famous-people careers like modelling (stuff that doesn't require years of studying and university degrees) but then I remembered that he got dropped from his modelling contract because he wasn't up to the workload they presented. So, yeah...
