When it comes to Ancient stuff, you always have to keep in mind that modern words have different meanings and our modern understanding of historical events is by default flawed.

For instance, I'm no expert, but I think the action of hanging and "hanging" in "hanging gardens" were completely different words in Ancient Greek. 

We always project our experience on the past, and try to understand it in relation to the present. It's a natural bias of us.

I honestly always saw it as if she was in Babylon. After all she was battling for her life in the video.
