Honestly I don’t know, but definitely not something campy. The Chromatica Ball intro was a nice direction, even if a bit predictable for this album I want. I’ve been missing that kind of sleekness from her for years. I’d want something sparse, isolating, uncomfortable but sleek… and this is a nit pick but I really want her to ditch winged eyeliners.

Yes, I ve been really wishing her to do some Disco album for ages but I am a bit unsure, Ive been wishing Gaga to do songs like Jessie Ware's new single Free Yourself, it would match her voice and message so well. I dont mind her jumping on the wagon and doing albums like Kylie or Roisin Murphys latest albums.

Music does go through cycles, I feel soon we will be deterating from Disco perhaps to something like High NRG disco. That would be still amazing if Gaga showed up with an album like Sylvester's or Divine. Its such a Gay Genre and I think everyone would eat it up. She could go full with her strong power vocals over some ecstatic filthy beats.

Also I miss her doing larger than life topics… i feel like since ARTPOP her albums have been more introspective. What she feels, and that’s totally fine. But I want her to go beyond again. Musings about the state of the world, not necessarily politically charged but something more philosophical.

what I personally want; a disco record that combines both traditional and modern. Have a bunch of legendary disco producers on the record. Bring back in Gorgio Moroder, he’s from the early Joanne sessions for the more techno-lite inspired disco music, have a listen to his work on Donna Summer’s magnum opus disco album.
Nile Rodgers & Chic to produce some traditional disco music, and finally get one half of Daft Punk to produce a French House song or two. 
 

to me it makes the most sense because it combines all the genres she’s played with so far into one album. 
 

traditional disco has jazz, blues, funk and some rock & roll.

modern disco has techno, house, dance and electro-pop 

to me it makes the most logical sense.

Since she's clearly not going to leave the pop music box the stans and the industry have her in, she should usher in the revival of new jack swing

We had a disco revival, 80s revival, then it skipped to mid/late 90s house music. But the early 90s with that new jack swing sound?! It has to be my favorite type of dance music

But she'll have to also abandon this trend of 2 minute songs 'cause that's a genre that needs space to breathe on a track. If she can't do that then don't even bother tbh. I'd love to see her stretch her own producer muscles, hook up with Teddy Riley or something, and just make an album of 4-6 minute dance songs

And I could see a colorful era with it too, full of retro looks and bright aesthetics  ARTPOP truly was the only departure she ever made from that gothic, dark feel she does with every album. Even the JWT's interludes and appearances leaned on TFM aesthetics. I had hope that Chromatica was going to be bright but it's just as dark, if not darker, than TFM and BTW and what little I've seen of TCB and it's "brutal approach" has me wondering if she'll ever truly try anything new again after the ARTPOP backlash 

I just really, really want an evolution from her. An actual shake up, not just a tease like the pre-tour Joanne era. Stans and critics be damned, she needs to leave 2010 behind.

...this post turned into something else but I'm not sorry I love Gaga so much as a person and entertainer but I've grown bored with the same dark themes being used again and again and again tbh.
