Adele announces rescheduled residency dates + adds 8 new shows

All previously postponed WEEKENDS WITH ADELE performances have now been rescheduled. In addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, 8 new shows have also been announced

If i'm being honest....if i was a fan that had bought the tickets before I would not trust her to do these shows either. I'd rather just get my refund.

Current ticket holders will have the opportunity to refund their tickets up until Monday, August 1, 2022. After that point, no additional refunds will be permitted.

I think the way she handled it it was a MESS. Cancelling the day before is unacceptable.

It's not like she has a show with choreography and dancers.

She should have said "hey, for the fans already here, we are happy to do an accoustic set for the first 3 dates. The rest of the shows will be postponed/refunded".

In this case it'd have been "We are happy to do an acoustic set for the first 7 months while we figure out the logistics of the rest of the show".

right? Like, this is Adele. What could it possibly entail? I can’t wrap my head around what needed to be reworked. She just stands there and sings, right? Is there going to be pyrotechnics? Dancers? Light shows? Is Cirque du Soleil going to be behind her the entire time? A dolphin show? Peppa the pig collab?

Take it with a grain of salt but I read on ATRL that she wanted to build a huge bridge on the stage with a river flowing beneath it. “Water under the bridge” is expected to be the encore.
