And then I think remove LoveGame and replace with Plastic Doll as theres too many songs from The Fame. Then remove TEOG and replace with 1000 Doves (Piano Version) going into the main version. Then also would love SFA somewhere as I think that would be amazing to hear live! I don't care about Fun Tonight being added at all. LandonM170 686 Posted July 18, 2022 Share Posted July 18, 2022 I thought the set was ok at best like where is Applause and then she gonna tease us with a ****ing interlude with elements of Venus to then perform a ballad after it. I really think she should make some medleys like make LoveGame and Telephone a medley, add Applause with Stupid Love and Rain on Me (I think that fits), and add Paparazzi maybe in the act II. Oh I didn't like how there were 4 ballads back-to-back with each other. I think BTW would have been better as the full band version instead of the piano into band and TEOG should have been the BWTB version where it's a piano acoustic into full band part. No. Opening with 3 of her biggest hits is kind of a badass move, saying almost “yeah I have enough hits for the rest of the concert”. I never really cared about Monster as a song but since I have not been to TMB I like I am gonna hear it live for once. However Telephone and Lovegame for the 937372th time is getting boring. Was saying the same about Alejandro when the setlist leaked but sooo happy she replaced it with Enigma. Would have prefered another song here, and then maybe Applause somewhere after the piano section. I would have loved to hear TEOG as studio version, or at least a part of it. It kinda gets overshadowed by everything else right now. I would have loved one or 2 more uptempo songs after the ballads, since we now just have SL and ROM, which both should be near the end! Was really happy she didn’t play Sine from Above and was also really happily surprised she played Monster. And the long piano session was amazing. The beginning and ending tracks seemed a bit odd Edit: The Paparazzi removal was the most shocking to me as I love it so much. Despite being a very harsh decision, it kinda worked for the setlist. Way better choice than Million Performances or You and I. and what is with this HMH slander as the encore. It is THE stadium anthem, even though it was not as big as a hit as we would have liked. I'm glad there's no ARTPOP now that I've seen the show, it wouldn't have really fit into the vibe at all. HMH should go but I know she kinda has to play it. I don't think it's necessary to open or close a show with a song from the tour's album just bc it's from that album, it's about what makes sense thematically. Bad Romance makes a lot of sense in context. HMH I'll give you because it's not the right closing song, but there's a few non-Chromatica songs that I think would've been fine. BehindTheAura12 212 Posted July 19, 2022 Share Posted July 19, 2022 like a few people have said, the songs performed I love I don't really think there's any egregious snub, the order is a bit weird though. having chromatica 1 and Alice open 'act 1' (which is the second portion of the show) was weird cuz like... thats an opener! closing on HMH isnt the WORST thing she could've done but its... pretty up there! but im sure ill come around to it.
