At this point I think she won’t even release it tbh. its really sad, I really enjoy her music and had tickets to see her. Glad at least I got to go to her last tour and had a blast. She clocks in: costume on, plays the part, and clocks out. Then goes home as Amanda. There’s not an ounce of authenticity here as ‘Ava Max’ and the GP has caught up. She’s talented and her voice is incredible! It just sucks she’s wasting it on this character they built for her. Hope she goes in a new direction that works well for her! It feels like every release is basically framed as a debut because she fails to break through every time. There’s just nothing particularly distinctive, interesting, or memorable about her and I think that’s part of the reason why, in spite of what appears to be a decent amount of industry support, she never really catches on.
