Was there an opening act at all? :oprah:

Also I'm a bit devastated that there's no Applause (or DWUW) because those I've never heard live before... :messga:

However the setlist looks pretty amazing (HML would've been killer tho). :music:

For me it was the very first time seeing her live yesterday, after being a fan of hers for nearly 14 years. And it was very emotional and absolutely worth every penny, stress and all!! :vegas: Iwas supposed to see her at the Joanne Tour but I think my date was the first one to got cancelled unfortunately.

Yesterday we waited in line for nearly 3 hours to get in, and when we were at the entrance and got our tickets checked they told us that all seats from the block we were supposed to sit in got changed (they called it “Umsetzer”) and we needed to get to the very far distanced entrance were we had to walk past all queues there still were and this was the most stressful thing on the planet..:saladga: nobody of the people working at the venue knew what was going on and didn’t want to let us through at times. After like an hour (notice, we were already soooo close to the entrance in the first place) we got our different tickets and were sitting on a total different place in the stadium than we booked. The venue has changed those seats without any notice beforehand and most of the people working there did not know what was going on either… and the seats we got instead were a lot cheaper than the ones booked. I’m still really mad at the venue and people messing this up.. Plus we didn’t got to keep our original tickets with the chromatica design on it

BUT none the less the show was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. I cried the whole time because I couldn’t believe that I saw her live and how good the show was!!

she is an absolute masterclass performer and you could tell that she was nervous performing the first time in such a long time! But she killed it 100%! also the visuals & clips were absolutely stunning and one of the best she had imo :firega:

Getting in was a nightmare.

The staff made us wait on a huge queue for 2 hours and when we thought we were almost in, they told us that we need to queue at a different entrance. When we went there it was full of ppl, probably 1/4 of the ppl attwnding were there, and there was literally 0 staff there to tell us what is going on.

Not to mention security. You are expecting more than 50k people to attend yet there is literally ZERO security guards outside or inside.

And I will just say that trying to get home by public transport after was an experience 🥲

But as I said earlier here, seeing this show was worth it all.

Just watching these HD YouTube videos and I'm even more impressed. The way she nailed her choreos and gave so much energy even until the end. So jealous of everyone who gets to attend!

Okay so then we weren’t the only ones having trouble getting in 😅 but like you said, it was definitely all worth it! The show was an all around experience, let’s just say that 😉

I’m totally not against Gaga giving older tracks a facelift or two. I also really loved the hard-edge, industrial aesthetic of this show compared to the vibrant colors we saw in the Stupid Love video. I’m glad she took that route.

Same. I like darker style better than let’s save ArtRave style music video Stupid Love got.

DJWS loves ARTPOP so much but like.. Gaga barely moves a finger when it comes to that album now lol. I don't think she's interested in revisiting that or even do anything for the 10th anniversary, let alone something about Do What U Want. She clearly erased that song for good and doesn't plan to go back to it.

PLEASE SPOILER FREE: Would anyone who went to the ball recommend standing at front, center stage in the pit, or would you recommend being at the end of one of the catwalks? I haven’t seen any videos or anything (plan to keep it that way), but I want to stand in the best spot for the show.

I'd say stand in the middle. The catwalks aren't used a lot, so better to be in the middle for the "main" show. One "spoiler" that doesn't give anything away visually, creatively or musically, but could impact your choice:

Spoiler

Gaga will briefly be very close to the people standing at the end of the catwalk on the right (from our perspective). It's about as close as you can get to her during the show, but it's very brief.

I wonder if any of the Chromatica Ball show/aesthetics were going to originally be revealed at Coachella. The CB stage reminds me of the Coachella stage with how the screens are set up.
