Was he 14 there? That is a radio interview with fans behind him, he's been in the game for that long? I didn't know.

Yes, he was either 14 or 15. He’s been some sort of celebrity either through Vine, Youtube, or music since he was 13.

He as a teen did say and do some things that were regrettable, just as many of us have. However, he has addressed these things a few times now and apologized for them.

As @AbhainnTirim said, people grow up and people change and people learn. It’s very evident that he now as a 23 year old has grown way up and educated himself. Through his foundation, he’s provided a platform and assistance to many causes that work to help people of all different races, sexes, and sexualities. Traveling the world is the best education one can have and he grew up very quickly as a result. Even by the time he was 17 and 18, he acted and spoke very differently to how he did as a 15 year old.

It’s important to not hold someone to dumb things they said or did as a kid. Hold them accountable? Absolutely, and we as a fanbase have and he’s addressed things as a result. I don’t think he ever was a bad person, not even as a teen. Just as with many teens, his judgement wasn’t the greatest and he made the same mistakes a lot of uneducated kids do. That doesn’t excuse anything, no, but it’s important to note how they learn from it. From everything we know about him now from people he’s worked with, his friends, and other celebrities, he’s a very down to earth person who is always striving to learn and better himself. Let those actions speak louder than a 13/14/15 year old being an edge lord.

He wasn’t selling tickets for $3, but someone was.

That isn’t Ticketmaster in those screenshots in the first tweet, that’s SeatGeek which is a reseller.

As for screenshots from Ticketmaster, she shows a show that ultimately sold out and then two shows who didn’t have that many tickets available as of the day before the postponements. Not saying they’re altered but I do think they were screenshots taken before the last couple days. I saw those seat maps and they were not that amount of tickets left on Ticketmaster.

Thank you for this, I actually felt really bad when I saw that video because I thought it was pretty recent, it's clear that the today's Shawn isn't that kid anymore.
