I was genuinely uncomfortable when I saw Gaga's new TikTok, and that's all I'll say about that. it's all in her body language and face when she poses, in photoshoots and in real life, she is awkward but, beauty icon, as beauty per se, aka physical beauty i think she is an icon.

Honestly I believe her, because there’s no point in lying about it, especially since she did admit to Botox right before.

I fully understand the argument of young people looking up to her and other celebrities who got plastic surgery and that being why these celebrities should be open about it, but at the same time I feel like people shouldn’t be pressurizing these celebrities into it because there’s a stigma that also will affect them once they’re open about it.

Like when a celebrity admits to plastic surgery, their online comments aren’t the same anymore; you can’t give them a compliment on their appearance anymore without a lot of people yelling that ‘they’re plastic’, among other mean things. This even applies to those that only get one procedure done.

Y’all know there’s other surgeries and plastic surgery practices that don’t include fillers right?? They’ve always been quite open about getting boob jobs, Botox, etc.. I fully believe she’s had a lot of work done but if any of them has hit up the filler it’s Khlo

People do plastic surgery to look more attractive most of the time.
And she is considered a beauty standard by many people and she knows it. Hence her number of followers on Instagram.

Growing up, I had problems with how I look thanks to what is being presented in the media as desirable. Probably I still have some of these problems when I look in the mirror.

In the era when we try to undo what modelling/fashion industry did to women especially (defining that only being size 0 is considered as being attractive) shrugging off the fact that most celebrities are correcting their bodies as "fine" is problematic, I think.

I go from the logic that your insecurities doesn’t concern them. It’s their face their skin their bodies. Everyone of us should focus on our bodies and face and not look outward for comparisons. That’s what’s toxic. Of course it’s easier said than done when society decides who’s beautiful and who isn’t.
