Head Empty 24,260 Posted July 1, 2022 Author Share Posted July 1, 2022 I absolutely loved Act 1. Just finished listening to Act 2. And I really don't like it Bones and Symphony are bops. I can vibe with Ferris Wheel, Peace of Mind and Sirens. Other than that every song either bored or annoyed me I don't really understand this release. It feels very "quantity over quality" with it being released so quickly after Act 1. Metaphors are starting to repeat themselves and sonically the songs don't set themselves apart like they used to. I recently started to watch some interviews with Dan Reynolds, which really renewed my excitement for this album. Dan is such a passionate and genuine creator, with a very unique perspective, but sadly I don't recognize that same energy in these songs.
