i think i remember reading that JLO was basically in the finalization part of her deal when she found out about the shakira involvement

Yikes. I hope it is a sentiment both her and Shakira share (and discussed) in the sense of both thinking it should have been an honor given to just one artist (whether either of them or someone else). Like...I hope she's not throwing shade at Shakira and S is just now finding out about it. I dont think thats the case though. I feel like they talked about this during the time leading up to it.

Exactly my thoughts when I read that. JLo it's pretty full of herself and she had some "beef" with Shakira that time her FIFA song wasn't really big and everybody thought that Lalala (Dare you) by Shakira was the real futbol song of thtat year... (a one woman beef because Shakira couldn't care less LOL).

And Shakira responded something like "I don't think I'm a threat to anybody, I've always supported all female artist like Rihanna or Beyonce. Maybe because they see me so small" 

So, JLo and her big ego...
