Lol this article is blatantly false and clearly published to fit a narrative that upper middle class ppl are struggling (they’re NOT). This “paycheck to paycheck” expenses include all the money they take out to put into investments... what a ****ing joke. Eat the rich includes the middle class of America FYI.

Well if you’re struggling with this at that income even in the USA then that’s a you problem and you need to evaluate your spending. That’s ridiculous

Someone making 250k is not living paycheck to paycheck. This is laughable. If they are struggling, it’s bc they are not living within their means and spending frivolously

I don't think that's the narrative the article was doing at all. The tone seemed more like criticism at people's ability to handle money not a pity party for upper middle class and their struggles

I think there's a difference between living paycheck to paycheck and genuinely struggling ur kind lumping the two as if they mean the same thing

Someone who lives paycheck to paycheck simply means they spend all their money and their bank account is near 0 until their next paycheck (regardless of their means)

It doesn't in itself require genuine struggle to fit the description. People just imagine a single mom on low income just scrapping by when they think of the term "paycheck to paycheck" but it doesn't mean the expression has to purely be defined by such individuals just because it's what comes to mind

Someone can live comfortably while still living paycheck to paycheck the difference in this situation is that it's by choice not circumstance
