nATAH 49,684
the products are certainly much better looking this time around, i love how colourful it all is vs all of it being black but those prices? if she gets into fragrances, the only thing i care about, it better not cost me an arm and a leg mother, what must i do? Married the Night 3,955
Visually, this feels like a downgrade. When you think about Lady Gaga makeup you want fun colors and bold packaging. Nobody cares about the eco friendly gimmick. To last, these products are going to have to be so good they blow the doors off Sephora at this point. Pop Music 20,540
Since i'm not a makeup user I will still patiently be waiting for the HL skincare line Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!
Rebel 5,221
The absolute lack of identity is so sad to me. I’ve been in branding + art direction for years now and this feels like what you come up with when you didn’t understand your client at all

What do you think could be better? I think some sort of pattern or texture to the packaging would make it a bit more interesting. she/her 👹🖤 | Vanish Into You 🎶 HMHAS 🎶

Not at all, these are "clean, cruelty-free and vegan" so they don't contain carbon black and each product has ingredients that are very good for skin care (Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Argan Oil, Arnica, Squalane, etc.)

It's not really about eco friendly gimmick, sure they are vegan and cruelty-free, but it's more about the clean products that are actually good for skin. Franch Toast 26,886
I'm still mourning the liquid eyeliner, and those face paints aren't the same as my beloved sparkly Glam Attacks. Is it not possible to have a clean, eco-friendly liquid/felt tip liner? She/Her/Hers

I can’t just throw out there design proposals without knowing their background info but clearly the brief had “clean” as a key concept. It would’ve been cool to find a balance between minimalist clean aesthetic and the “Gaga” side of this celebrity brand. It’s all in the details really, for example if we’re gonna have a simplistic logo in all the packaging, we can create a unique typeface from scratch for the body text and titles or viceversa. If the packaging is gonna be this generic eco-friendly, then go a bit experimental with the photography style. This lack of balance bleeds out to the voice of the brand too. A phrase on the website reads “we’re not serving looks, we’re serving self love”… like ok but that’s almost pretentious. We WANT to serve looks cause that’s the fun of makeup and Lady Gaga. The self love message becomes lame.

Lacks the rawness and extra-ness of Gaga, even if in a more subdued way
